In 2015 it became apparent to us that the cosmetic portion of our practice at Northern Utah Dermatology had experienced such growth, we founded Radiance Esthetics. Our goal is to be your skin care experts, helping your complexion glow with the natural radiance of health! Each year we strive to add new, scientifically backed, innovative treatments to our list of services. We are keeping the medical in medical spa.
Daniel Hansen
DO, MBA
Dr. Hansen is a Board Certified Dermatologist. He is passionate about dermatology and dermatologic surgery. He practices adult, pediatric, and cosmetic dermatology as well as Mohs micrographic surgery. Originally from northern Utah’s Cache Valley, he graduated from Utah State University with a Bachelor’s degree in biology and a Master’s degree in Business Administration. Dr. Hansen subsequently earned his degree in medicine at the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine, completing his clinical rotations at the Henry Ford Hospital system in Michigan. His dermatology training was done at the Oakwood Southshore Medical Center, in Trenton, Michigan, a training site of Michigan State University, where he was appointed general medical house officer and served as Chief Resident of dermatology.
Dr. Hansen lectures at local and national meetings and is active in community health education. In addition, he continues to share his extensive training in Medical Dermatology, Mohs micrographic surgery, and cosmetic therapies with his patients as well as rotating students. He is an Adjunctive Clinical Professor of Dermatology at A.T. Still University, Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine – California, and Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine – Las Vegas. He is a Fellow of the American Society for Mohs Surgery, a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and a Fellow of the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology. He is an active member of the American Osteopathic Association and an Associate of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery and the American Contact Dermatitis Society.
Dr. Hansen and his wife have five children. They love hiking, skiing, boating, fishing, hunting and just being in the beautiful outdoors. He has enjoyed developing the practice at Northern Utah Dermatology and will continue to bring the most recent advances and cutting-edge treatments to his patients.
Kristin Nye
Master Esthetician
South Ogden location
Kristin Nye has been a Certified Master Esthetician for the past 12 years with skills in spa treatments as well as microdermabrasion, Skinpen micro-needling, medical grade chemical peels, dermaplaning and lasers.
She graduated from Marinello School of Beauty in 2011 with high honors and was recognized as student of the month twice for her high performance. She attended NIMA’s Comprehensive Laser Course in Las Vegas, NV becoming a certified laser technician.
Working years in customer service she loves working with clients to help enhance their natural beauty.
She enjoys spending time hiking, fishing, and playing outdoors with her family. Kristin is looking forward to working many years to come here at Radiance Esthetics.
Carli Hanson
Master Esthetician
Syracuse location
Carli Hanson graduated as a Master Esthetician from NIMA in 2021. During her time there, she took advanced courses in Waxing and Exfoliation.
Since then she spent some time working in a Laser Hair Removal Clinic. Carli’s love for Esthetics grew from seeing an Esthetician for her own acne while in High School, and the impact it had on her confidence. She wants to be that for her own clients.
She enjoys spending time with her family, ATV riding, and baking. Carli looks forward to meeting you and helping you feel confident in your skin.
